Service · Brand
Brand strategy, naming, identity systems, and messaging for companies whose reputation has outgrown the way they present themselves.

Overview
Companies usually call us about branding at a point of change: a merger, new leadership, a move upmarket, a new service line, or a sales team tired of apologizing for the pitch deck. The logo is often the most visible symptom, but the real problem is that the company has no shared, clear way to describe what it does, for whom, and why it is better. Different people tell different stories, and prospects notice.
Our brand work starts with strategy. We interview leadership, staff, and customers, review the competitive field, and pin down positioning, audience, and messaging before any design begins. Identity follows from that: logotype, color, typography, imagery, and voice designed as a working system and tested on real applications such as the website, proposals, signage, and social posts. We document it in guidelines your team and vendors can actually use.
Brand projects typically run $20,000 to $75,000 depending on whether naming is involved, how many sub-brands need a home, and how many applications we design. Most take ten to sixteen weeks. Many clients pair a rebrand with a new website, which lets us design both together instead of bolting a new identity onto an old site. We work with established firms in Chicago and across the country, often companies that have been in business for decades.
Business problems we solve
Leadership, sales, and the website each tell a slightly different story. Prospects come away unsure what you actually specialize in.
A logo designed in the early days and a mix of fonts and colors make a serious firm look like a startup, or like an older version of itself.
Acquisitions, new divisions, and product lines have each added their own names and logos, and nobody is sure how they relate to one another.
Without real guidelines and templates, every proposal, deck, and sign is designed from scratch, and the quality depends on whoever made it.

I had them made my spa business website, they did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend them for a website and logo design.
FAQ
Many companies need a refresh: sharper messaging, a refined logo, and a stronger color and type system, while keeping the recognition they have built. A full rebrand makes sense after a merger, a major change in strategy, or when the current brand is actively working against you. We will recommend the lighter option when it is enough.
Leadership should expect several interviews and three to five key review meetings over the project. We handle the research, design, and documentation, but strategy only holds if decision-makers help shape it.
We run naming projects including linguistic and preliminary availability screening. Trademark clearance and registration should go through your attorney, and we coordinate with them so shortlisted names are vetted before anyone gets attached to one.
We plan the rollout with you: an internal launch first so staff can speak to it, then the website, digital channels, and high-visibility touchpoints, followed by a phased replacement of signage and print. Most clients do not need to replace everything on day one.
Yes, and it is often the most efficient approach. Designing the identity and the website together means the brand gets tested on its most important application before it is finalized.
